Documenting Your Sources

For this project, you'll use APA documentation style.  Each database has a tool bar that has a citation option, and you may need to choose the APA documentation style.

Citing Other Kinds of Sources

Here are some common kinds of sources that you may need to generate a citation for.  If you need a citation format for a source type that's not listed here, check out the Purdue OWL APA Style Guide

Websites with authors:

Lastname, F. M. (Year, Month Date). Title of page. Site name. URL

Websites authored by organizations:

Group name. (Year, Month Date). Title of page. Site name. URL

Youtube Video:

Person or group who uploaded video. (Date of publication). Title of video [Video]. Website host. URL 

**If the date of publication is not listed, use the abbreviation (n.d.).
