Resources for Teaching Students with Disabilities about Race & Culture: Welcome

Thanks to the Shakopee Educational Endowment Foundation (SEEF), we've been able to purchase curriculum and nearly 200 books for special education classrooms district wide. Ranging from Early Childhood through 12th grade, these books and curricula will allow us to:

• teach our students about race, diversity & culture in a developmentally appropriate manner
• provide students with books that are more representative of the diverse population of our district AND
• cultivate a culture of acceptance, inclusion, and equity
