The Innovation Hub staff has created some new procedures for the 2020-2021 school year to provide a safe, yet welcoming environment for students and staff.  Please be aware of the following operational changes and always reach out with any questions.

FAB LAB

To adhere to district safety procedures, we will not have shared materials available for students to use at this time. Teachers may sign up to use the Fab Lab with up to 16 students.  Students should plan to bring their own supplies and materials, and storage for student projects is not available.  Staff supervision is required in this space, and classes are responsible for cleaning up the space before the end of each block.

Sign up to request the Fab Lab on MyReservations.  This space must be approved by Sandy, Jen, or Kara in MyReservations before the reservation becomes final.

At this time, Breakout boxes are not available.  For digital Breakouts, contact Kara Osmundson.

THINK TANKS

With physical distancing in mind, these two spaces can accommodate up to four students each at a time.  Sign up to request the Think Tanks on MyReservations.

COLLAB LAB

Teachers may sign up to use the Collab Lab with up to 16 students.  Staff supervision is required in this space.  Sign up to request the Collab Lab on MyReservations.

STUDENT PRINTING

Students should print to the Innovation Hub and may retrieve their print job without a pass.  Students will be asked to form a queue for the printer outside the Innovation Hub doors.  Students can find the Innovation Hub printer in Self-Service and download it before they arrive for the first time to print:

CHROMEBOOK & DVD PLAYER CHECKOUT

Students who have forgotten their Macbooks at home may check out a Chromebook during the school day.  Chromebooks must be returned before students leave for the day. After being returned, Chromebooks will be disinfected before being checked out again.

Teachers can checkout DVD players to use with classes in the Innovation Hub.
